Is LicenseTrack a fit?¶
LicenseTrack is a self-hosted workspace for license managers, procurement staff, and administrators. It connects the record of what was requested, purchased, received, maintained, and renewed.
What you can manage¶
- Purchases: sourcing requests, suppliers, quotes, pending orders, and conversion into license records with their purchase history.
- Entitlements: a searchable registry, ownership, costs, custom fields, supporting documents, and contracts.
- Renewals: upcoming work, sourcing and purchase progress, successor records, and the history of previous terms.
- Operations: reports, access roles, optional notifications, audit history, backups, and API integrations.
The core application works without extensions or external integrations.
Where it fits in your tools¶
LicenseTrack can serve as your central license registry or work alongside an ERP, purchasing system, or discovery and compliance tool. It tracks procurement and entitlement evidence; it does not scan networks, discover installations, or reconcile deployments against entitlements.
Try it before installing¶
The demo walkthrough uses three seeded examples to show the record, purchase, and renewal workflows. Sample changes reset on refresh or logout. The walkthrough explains which features require a real deployment.
Deployment and licensing¶
Choose Docker Compose or native Linux on your own infrastructure. You operate the host, access, storage, and backups.
LicenseTrack is source-available. Review the project's licensing summary and license terms when evaluating it for your organisation.
